Delhi Govt launches E- Auto mela

This Mela will continue till October 31


On Monday, the Delhi transport minister Kailash Gahlot inaugurated an electric auto Rickshaw mela. This was launched at the Institute of Driving, Training and Research (IDTR) in Sarai Kale Khan.

 

Knowing about the main aim to launch this e- auto mela, this exhibition is aimed especially at women and encourages prospective auto drivers to buy and e - auto for the means of self-employment. Whereas this exhibition is being conducted in two locations: IDTR Sarai kale khan and Loni from 9 am to 4 pm every day till 31 October. 

 

According to the statement, The transport Minister said, "The visiting prospective e - auto drivers of Delhi will be able to see and drive all the models of e - auto and explore the attractive loan terms available.  E - auto manufacturers Mahindra, Piaggio, and ETO motors, and financiers such as Mahindra Finance, Bajaj Fincorp, Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) are participating in the meal. The experts at the e- auto mela will also guide the applicants on how to register for  e- autos and will brief them about the various environmental benefits of e auto, their batteries and how to charge them, maintenance methods, subsidies, interest relief etc. And allow test drives for various models. Said the minister, Kailash Gehlot.


Meanwhile,  these initiatives and programmes are also implemented as the unemployment level is rising in the country. With the hit of deadly coronavirus, the unemployment level has touched the peak and also, people are losing their lives just in need of a job or employment.
