COVID cases Declining in the National capital


The Delhi government has recommended lifting the Night curfew from the Capital city as the COVID cases are declining in the state. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has approved the proposal and sent it to lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, the chairman of Delhi disaster management authority (DDMA) for further decisions.

 

Covid-19 cases are declining in the National capital. The city was witnessing a surge in cases of Covid-19. The public rush and overcrowding in the market could lead to rising in infection for which the weekend curfew has been implemented in the capital city.

 

According to the information, the Delhi disaster management authority (DDMA) will discuss the proposal at its meeting likely to be held next week and will take a final decision on easing the restrictions. No final decision has been taken yet.

 

The capital city is also under an odd-even scheme for shops and markets. Around 50 percent of the capacity is permitted only in the city. On January 4, the Delhi disaster management authority (DDMA) issued a weekend curfew to curb the spread of omicron in the Capital.

 

Delhi is among the worst-hit states with Deadly COVID. The cases gradually rise in the city. Also, on the other hand the cases fluctuate rapidly. Many livelihoods and daily earning schedules have been hampered due to the deadly coronavirus and the Restrictions that led to the infection.

 

Schools, colleges, gyms, hotels, and restaurants all are running under certain Covid restrictions which have led to a downfall in the daily income of the people.

 

According to the data, On Thursday, Delhi reported 12,396 cases of COVID. Taking the positivity rate to 30.64 percent.
