Daily cases count has dropped enormously to 5000 per day which once spiked to 9000. The last few weeks have witnessed appalling and hazardous clouds fluttering over the National Capital due to unexpected rise in corona cases which on November 11 crossed 8000 mark and there was no stagnancy or drip in the curve for a long time. Owing to poisonous pollution and crowded festive season, such a situation  arose suddenly with no respite for Delhiites.

The city currently possesses 5,66,648 total cases, out of which 35,091 are active. The Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal optimistically asserted that the National Capital is ready to wage the battle against this third wave of deadly virus.

In the last 24 hours, 64,186 cases were conducted out of which 7.6% were positive. This is a lowered figure from the average of 8.5% observed in the last week.
