On Monday, The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) issued an order permitting cinema halls, multiplexes to reopen with 100 percent seating capacity. Also, it exceeded the number of people attending the wedding ceremony and last rites from 100 to 200.


 

The National capital is witnessing a downfall in its Covid-19 cases after which several decisions have been taken in view of the improving scenario and upcoming wedding season, festival and other occasions. 


 

According to the statement, Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) said, "In case any violation is found, strict penal,  criminal action shall be taken against the owner of the restaurant, bar, cinema, theatre and multiplexes."


 

Knowing more about the guidelines, all social, political, sport, entertainment, cultural, and religious gatherings are still prohibited in the city. Restaurants and bars will continue to function at 50 percent seating capacity.  Also, the Delhi Metro will ply with 100 percent capacity but no standing passengers are allowed to stand and travel in the metro.


The movie theatre and cinema halls were closed in April after the National capital witnessed rising cases of the deadly Coronavirus in the city. After which the Delhi Government issued a detailed guideline granting 50 per cent running capacity permission for reopening.  The Covid cases are declining. The Delhi Government also permits the reopening of schools from today, students will be allowed to attend the physical class. Only 50 per cent capacity is permitted. No attendance is mandatory for the physical classes.
