Delhi Receives Moderate To Heavy Rainfall

Delhi received constant rainfall, which caused water logging to hit vehicular movement in Gurugram, Noida and Delhi.


Today morning, Glimpse of several parts of National Capital where autos, cars and buses partially submerged at Delhi's Pragati Maidan and Mathura road were witnessed due to incessant rainfall. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has already predicted a period of light intensity rain over separate places of Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh in the next two hours.

The IMD also stated that "Thunderstorms with moderate to heavy intensity rain would continue to occur over many places of South-West Delhi, New-Delhi (Lodi road), East-Delhi, Shahdara, Preet Vihar, Central Delhi, NE-Delhi, South Delhi, Southwest-Delhi, Gurugram, Manesar," tweeted.

Water logging has also been reported in several pasts like Bilaspur chowk, Shyam chowk jwala meel T-point, Mayfield Garden, Galleria market Red light, and at Pasco Red light. On the other hand, Noida traffic police also informed the commuters of routes and jams.
