Delhi reports 1,650 cases of Black Fungus.Delhi recorded 1,656 mucormycosis cases with 952 active cases. The number of active cases of Covid-19 on July 6 stood at 833.

Covid-19 cases are declining in the National Capital but cases of Black fungus also known as Mucormycosis have been worrying. These cases have been increasing and have touched 1,650 cases. According to official data, the cases of Black fungus previously in (July 6) were 952 after which it increased up to 1,650 in the National Capital. whereas according to figures, Delhi recorded 1,656 mucormycosis cases with 952 active cases. The number of active cases of Covid-19 on July 6 stood at 833.

According to data the total requirement of Amphotericin B till July 6 was about 1.5 lakh injection . According to data by the Ministry Health Department, on Monday, the National Capital recorded 45 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths due to the infection. Whereas the Positivity rate stood at 0.08 per cent. Whereas the active Covid-19 cases declined to 693 on Monday and the number of Cumulative cases of Covid-19 infection on Monday stood at 14,35,128. Meanwhile, 14 lakh patients have been recovered from the infection.
