Delhi schools reopen from today

Schools reopen with 50 percent capacity

On Monday, the schools in the National Capital reopened for physical classes. As per Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, he announced that the schools will reopen from Monday (1 November) with 50 per cent of capacity.  The physical classes will be voluntary and parents will not be forced to send children to school.

The schools have been asked to ensure that there is not more than 50 per cent attendance and also students are not forced to attend physical classes. Meanwhile, online classes are also running as usual.

Schools in the capital region have been closed since the Covid-19 burst in the country. The fear of getting contaminated with the deadly virus has created havoc in the minds of parents for their children for attending physical classes.

It has been seen not only Delhi but many other states have reopened schools like- Rajasthan, Haryana, Gurgaon, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh and many more.

Ahead of festivals, the risk of getting contaminated with the deadly Coronavirus is high. And also the capital city was considered a hotbed during the peak.

As per the reports, Delhi Government schools have been reporting 80 per cent attendance after the reopening in September, whereas private ones are in the process of sending out consent forms to parents. As many of them are expecting to send them after  Diwali.
