Delhi temperature dips to 19 degrees Celsius; clear sky

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) said on Friday morning the air quality index (AQI) at 7 am stood at 186 and 182 on Thursday.


The national capital's temperature dipped to 19 degrees Celsius while the sky was clear on Friday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted that the minimum temperature on Friday would be 19 degrees Celsius whereas the maximum would reach 34 degrees Celsius.

According to the data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), it said on Friday morning the air quality index (AQI) at 7 am stood at 186 and 182 on Thursday.

Whereas the city has been witnessing dust pollution lately. Meanwhile, in order to control the air pollution, several initiatives have been taken and implemented by the Delhi Government. Two smog towers have been installed at the public hub to minimize the pollution level.
