Delhi Terminal 1 Airport to resume flight services from October 31

Delhi Terminal 1 Airport to resume flight services from October 31. Whereas the services for terminals 2 and 3 were resumed earlier on May 25 and July 22 respectively.


Covid-19 cases have led to the closure of many public places as well as airport entries.  Terminal 1 of Delhi airport was closed for about more than 18 months. On Friday, Delhi International Airport limited announced that the flight operational services for terminal 1 will resume from October 31. Whereas the services for terminals 2 and 3 were resumed earlier on May 25 and July 22 respectively.  According to the statement of DIAL , "after almost 18 months of closure, the operations at T1 terminal will resume with pre Covid operators, i.e Indigo and Spicejet." 

Meanwhile, ahead of the festivals of Diwali and Dussehra the transportation services are on a hike and also rush is observed at many places. Whereas the Covid-19 pandemic has led to closure due to many such reasons of social distancing as well as Covid-19 appropriate behavior in the public places.
