Delhi To Get Its 1st CNG Based Crematorium For Pets

To be set up in Delhi's Dwarka Area


On Monday, the leader of the house in the south Delhi municipal corporation (SDMC), Indrajeet Sherawat said, that SDMC has started the construction of Delhi's first crematorium and that the work is likely to be ended by this year till the Month of April end.


As per the information, this pet Crematorium is likely to be set up in Delhi's Dwarka area near sector 29. This will be a CNG Based Crematorium for pets and will be one of the First crematoriums for pets in the National capital with a CNG facility.


According to the statement given by Indrajeet Sherawat said, fees of Rs 2,000 will be charged for cremating animals that weigh less than 30kg, Rs 3,000 will be charged for more than 30kg weight of any pet.

 

Further said, cremations for stray dogs will be done free of cost. also, the civic body has fixed the price of Rs 500 for the cremation of stray dogs from the area of Jurisdiction of other Civic agencies.


This initiative has been started by the south Delhi municipal corporation to help the cremation be done properly and properly. The national capital is on the priority list when it comes to facilities and new innovative ideas for humankind or Animals.
