Delhi: With no rainfall predicted this week, temperatures are set to rise

For the next seven days, weather will remain partly cloudy but no rainfall has been predicted.


The national capital is once again witnessing dry weather as it has stopped raining in the city. Today, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast there will be strong winds in the daytime, the temperature will be at a maximum of 35 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius. In the morning the humidity was 79% at 8:30.  

Besides, in the park of NCR strong winds with speed of around 20 to 30 kilometers per hour will be witnessed during the day, the IMD added. Moreover, for the next seven days the partly cloudy weather will be seen with no rainfall.

On Monday, Delhi witnessed a dry day in the Safdarjung station of the IMD, which provides representative data for the city, and recorded no rainfall between 8.30 a.m. on Monday and 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, medium rainfall was predicated on Monday. Places like Palam, the Ridge, Aya Nagar, and Lodhi road also remained dry. For next seven days the mercury is set to inch upwards and till August 16 maximum temperature will be around 37 degrees Celsius.
