Disney makes vaccination mandatory for on-site US employees

The company also said for the safety of newly hired employees, that the employees should be fully vaccinated before the beginning of their work


On Friday, Walt Disney made the vaccination process mandatory for all staff members and compensation per hour employees, due to a high number of cases of Delta covid 19 variants in the United States.

In the statement, Disney exclaimed, If an employee who isn’t vaccinated yet and working on the site will have 60 days from today to complete their protocols and the employees who have been working from home, and planning to return in offline mode, require to show verified vaccination.

Meanwhile, the company also said for the safety of newly hired employees, that the employees should be fully vaccinated before the beginning of their work. Before, the US has already declared that all employees should be getting vaccinated before going to the office. Most major tech companies like Alphabet Inc’s Google, Uber, Technologies Inc, and Facebook Inc earlier this week and now Disney too.The Health authorities on Tuesday also declare that people should start getting wearing masks in indoor public places and the region's places, as the number of coronavirus cases is increasing rapidly.
