Stress has become one of the most common parts of human life. Is it okay to ignore stress all the time?

Uncontrolled stress can be harmful to your health in several ways. It can lead you to eat more or quit eating, will increase your weight or one the other hand will decrease. Stress is of different levels, out of it chronic stress comes under the most powerful one which can then lead towards heart disease.

There are several other health issues like improper digestion, headache, anxiety, low immunity, insomnia and these can be left untreated

Can acne be affected by stress?

According to two studies it's highlighted that "stress can make your acne worse " and it's linked with several other factors which trigger your skin and flashes and impacts over it.

She explains, " Around 85% experience acne problems at some point.It usually appears at the face, back,  shoulder or at the neck". She said - one of the biggest misconceptions is that stress causes acne problems directly whereas stress results in hormone changes which result in damages and worsening of acne issues.

When you are stressed,  your sleep pattern changes diet changes which directly reflects on your skin. Even your poor eating habits and lifestyle can also put an impact over your skin.

Stress also leads to a variant of acne known as acne excoriate where stress leads towards compulsive itching and excoriating the inflamed acne and leads to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and scars. Therefore, Stress alone is not only the major reason for acne issues,  hormonal change, excessive oil production and dead skin cells all contribute together in damaging it.
