Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is actively fighting with COVID-19 and recent on 23rd September Thursday got diagnosed with Dengue which led him more trouble. He got admitted to a Max private hospital and underwent plasma therapy.

 

The 48- years old AAP leader tested positive on September 14 and earlier admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital in New Delhi and had home isolation .

 

Sisodia tweeted in Hindi that "After suffering from mild fever, I took a coronavirus test and turned out to be positive. I have isolated myself. I don't have a fever or any other problem as of now, I am fine. With your prayers, I am sure I will return to work after regaining my health."

 

According to the reports, his blood platelet count consistently was falling below the required level past these days. After having mild fever he was taken and admitted to Max Hospital in Saket where he tested positive for dengue.

 

Being diagnosed with dengue a patient's blood platelet can fall so down which can lead to external platelets infusion. According to doctors, the normal average platelet should be around 1.5-4.5 lakh.

 

The Medical Director of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital said," both the diseases have no specific treatment, which makes it even tough for treating doctors of such patients."

 

The experts are concerned about both the diseases as it seems to have complications to manage the cure as expects pointing out to have "no standard protocols". Expects said," the plasma therapy may work for treating the cause."
