Due to heavy rain all schools remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir

Up to 8th Grade

In Jammu and Kashmir, Ramban district all schools are closed till up to 8th standard on Monday, due to heavy rain. 

The upper reaches of Kishtwar, Dosa and Ramban also received fresh snowfall, according to reports.

Today all schools both government and private, up to middle level (Class 8) remain closed in Ramban district in view of heavy rains.

However, exams, if any, shall be held as per schedule.

The reports further noted that cold wave conditions gripped parts of Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban after the upper reaches of the districts received fresh snowfall overnight.
