Ego bigger than Ravana’ : Vinesh Phogat on WFI chief

Phogat advises media to not give a forum to talk

On Sunday, the ongoing protests by wrestlers asking that the findings of the Centre-appointed panel that investigated Singh's sexual harassment claims be made public came to an end.

Following the Supreme Court's order, the Delhi Police on Sunday provided security to the female wrestlers, including a minor, who filed sexual harassment complaints against Singh, and the complainants have been asked to record their statements soon so that further investigation into the case can be carried out, according to news agency PTI.

Singh had already accused Congress leader Deepender Hooda and wrestler Bajrang Punia of plotting a coup against him on Sunday. Singh, who was arrested for alleged sexual exploitation of female wrestlers, claimed the opposition parties were "tutoring" the players and praised former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav for not joining the protest, saying the Samajwadi Party chief was "standing with the truth."

In relation to Singh's charges, Punia advised the media not to give Singh a forum to talk until he is cleared by the courts. “The media is more in favour of Brij Bhushan than the players." You can see his criminal history. "Does anyone here, or any other players, have a criminal record?" Punia explained to journalists.

"The players win medals for the country, and he calls the medal winners into question." How many MPs are elected in this country, and how many Olympic medals are won? "There have only been about 40 Olympic medalists to date, and thousands have become MPs," the Olympic medalist stated.

"We don't get involved in politics." "We speak from the heart, and it connects, which is why so many people are here in our support," she said.

"I wonder how you can give such a criminal a platform?" Consider the following.... That man continues to speak with a smile on his face. "His ego is bigger than Ravana," Phogat observed.

Various political parties, including the Congress, the Left, the Trinamool Congress and AAP, have lent their support to the protesting wrestlers.
