Eight Years Of Narendra Modi Government: PM To Visit Shimla

To Participate In`Garib Kalyan Sammelan`


On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Shimla in Himachal Pradesh. 

According to the information, PM Modi will participate in the 'Garib Kalyan Sammelan' and release the 11th installment of financial benefit under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme.


The information stated the programme would begin at around 11 AM, and the Prime Minister will participate in the 'Garib Kalyan Sammelan'. This public programme marking the completion of eight years of the government led by the Prime Minister is being organised across the country at state capitals, district headquarters, and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, the Prime Minister's Office said.


On the completion of eight years of the Modi government, a grand show, ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’, will be held on historical Ridge Maidan. The CM claimed that about 50,000 people from different districts of the state will come to hear the PM. All CMs, ministers, and MLAs of BJP-ruled states will join the programme virtually. Even ministers of the Jai Ram government and BJP MLAs will remain present in their respective districts with the beneficiaries of the 16 schemes.


Thakur said that BJP national president J P Nadda might not join this programme but Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur might accompany the PM and will share the stage.


The PM will reach Shimla at 10.50 am and will hold a roadshow from CTO to Rani Jhansi Park on Mall Road. After that, he will reach the venue on Ridge Maidan. After interacting with the beneficiaries, he will address the nation.

 

The CM said that the PM will release Rs 21,000 crore of the 11th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi from the Ridge which will benefit about 80 crore people of the country.
