Expert panel to prepare roadmap for opening of schools and colleges in Delhi

Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia proposes to Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) with the experts for re-opening the school and colleges in Delhi.


As the pandemic hit the country, many states have closed the school and institute for the safety of children and teachers from last year, but when the school was shut things became difficult especially the learning process for the student. So, seeing the current situation a decision has been made to consider reopening the school in Delhi. On Friday  Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia proposes to Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) with the experts in re-opening the school and colleges in Delhi.

In the meeting, the committee of experts from the Education and Health departments has planned with standard operating procedures (SOPs), considering the opening of schools and colleges.

In the preparation of the standard operating procedure relating to the vaccination process of teachers and staff with the concern of parents and students things will be kept in the decision-making process. Meanwhile, in general, there is no harm in opening schools as PTM's were held in school last month where through teachers, Delhi government sought suggestions from parents related to the opening of schools.
