7 labor died in the explosion...
On 24 February 2023, nearly 7 labour died when a compressor in a cold storage plant exploded at Daurala area in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the information, the incident happened in the afternoon when at least 25 labors were present in the site. While the explosion occurred some of them tried to escape but the 7 people was stucked and died on spot. It is also informed that all of them belong to Jammu and Kashmir.
The deceased have been identified as Baldev, Balwant, Satpal, Kalu, Ramesh Lal, Balbir Singh are the residents of Udhampur and Hoshiywar Singh from Ramban.
Following the incident, the Union minister Dr. Jitendra singh expressed his sadness over the death of the people in the accident and mentioned that they will do all the possible help to the families of the decreased.
It is also informed that 9 other injured people were admitted in the hospital for their treatment.
