Woman allegedly raped inside hotel room
A Mumbai based event manager has allegedly been raped by her facebook friend in the capital on Saturday, November 2. According to the Delhi police the 27 year old woman met Micky Mehta, 57, and Navin Dwar, 46, on November 18 and 19. After meeting all of them returned to her hotel in Aerocity near Delhi airport, where Mr. Dwar allegedly passed lewd comments and tried to misbehave with her. However he left shortly after dropping her and Mr. Mehta outside the hotel. According to the woman, she was raped inside her hotel room by Mr. Mehta, who later took her to Anand Vihar and fled.
The two men have been remanded to judicial custody and run a food stall near Sonipat, Haryana.
