Farmer Protest enters 27 Day

The farmers protest which is against the 3 farm laws and on-going on particular borders in Delhi. Entered day 27 as farmers blocked the delhi-ghaziabad border.


On Tuesday Protesting farmer unions will hold a meeting to decide on the next step and talk with the Centre as they say the government has offered nothing new in its letter to the farmers offering to discuss the farm laws. Farmer groups have urged those in Bihar and other states to join the agitation to further make a unity and grasp their right from the government which is to repeal the three contentious farm laws.

Moreover, thousands of protesters have started off from Maharashtra to join the protest at Delhi borders where from the couple of days protest is on-going and accommodate farmers from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh have been camping for weeks. Once an NDA ally, Shiromani Akali Dal, has demanded an emergency Parliament session to annul the new laws and repeal the law. The Left Democratic Front (LDF) government in Kerala has decided to summon a special session for the farm law on Wednesday to pass a resolution against the farm laws.

Protesting farmers had blocked the way of Ghazipur , Delhi-Ghaziabad border completely. Traffic from Delhi towards Ghazipur and Ghaziabad route on Delhi-Meerut Expressway affected both sides and closed for traffic. Traffic diverted from Nizammudin Khattha, Akshardham and Ghazipur Chowk for onward journey via Anand Vihar, Apsara, Bhopra, DND, said CP Traffic, Outer Range, Delhi Traffic.
