In Uttar Pradesh a 21-year-old woman’s body was found stuffed in a trolley bag near Yamuna Expressway in Mathura last week it was a mystery case which was solved by police by suspecting it to be case of honour killing and arrested her parents.

 

She was allegedly killed by her father and her mother also helped him to dispose the corpse, police said, adding in it, Ayushi’s Yadav’s brother also knew about the murder.

 

The murder weapon has also been recovered, they said. Her family was not happy with her because she got married without their approval. 

 

On November 17, “Ayushi had a fight with her father. She had got married to a man of her choice because of which her family was not happy from her. Enraged over this, her father had shot her twice on November 17 after the argument,” acting Senior Superintendent of Police Martand Prakash Singh said

 

Without informing her parents the victim, Ayushi Yadav, had gone out for a few days. Due to this her father got angry, who allegedly shot her dead at their house in Modband village in Delhi’s Badarpur on November 17, her father packed her dead body in trolley bag and threw it near Raya cut on the Yamuna Expressway.

 

Police traced phones, checked CCTV footage, used social media and also put-up posters in Delhi to identify the woman after recovering the trolley stuffed with Ayushi Yadav’s body in Mathura.

 

The police then received a call from an unidentified caller on Sunday morning about her. Later, her mother and brother identified her through photographs. They also arrived at the mortuary in Mathura and confirmed the body was of Ayushi Yadav, the police said.

 

The family is originally from Baluni in Uttar Pradesh and migrated to Delhi after when Nitesh Yadav got a job there.
