Filmmaker Raj Kumar Kohli Dies at 93

Due to a heart attack...


Renowned filmmaker Raj Kumar Kohli, the father of actor Armaan Kohli, passed away at the age of 93 in Mumbai on Friday. Known for directing films such as Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahaan, Naagin, Badle Ki Aag, and Pati Patni aur Tawaif, he succumbed to a heart attack this morning.

 

Raj Kumar Kohli reportedly went for a shower on Friday morning and didn't emerge for a while. Concerned, his son Armaan broke down the door, only to find his father collapsed on the floor. The funeral is expected to take place this evening.

 

Armaan Kohli has been part of Bollywood films such as Dushman Zamana, Anam, Qahar, and the multi-starrer Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahaani. His last appearance was in Salman Khan's family drama film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

 

Armaan Kohli was also a participant in Salman Khan's reality show, Bigg Boss 7.
