24 Shops damaged…
On Tuesday, 25 April 2023, A massive fire broke out at the famous Sarojini Nagar Market in the wee hours of the morning, causing extensive damage to several shops.
The incident occurred at around 2:21 AM, with the flames spreading rapidly and engulfing everything that came in its path.
According to sources, five fire tenders immediately rushed to the location and worked tirelessly to control the fire, which took several hours to douse.
Unfortunately, four normal shops and 20 temporary shops were gutted in the inferno, resulting in a huge loss to the owners of the shop.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed, but initial reports suggest that it may have been triggered by an electrical short circuit.
An investigation is currently going on to check the exact cause of the incident.
