Fire broke out at the Mulund building in Mumbai

10 people were hospitalized, and 80 were rescued...


On March 15, 2023, a massive fire broke out at a seven-storey mulund residential building of Jagruti Society in Mumbai at around 2:55 p.m., resulting in the hospitalization of ten people, including three children. Around 80 people have been rescued till now.

 

As per the information, the BMC's Mumbai fire brigade (MFB) rescued the people, out of whom 10 were found unconscious and immediately shifted to the Agrawal hospital, where they are undergoing treatment and are in a stable condition.

 

The team further said that the fire was restricted to the electric wiring, electric installation, and main cables on the ground floor to the seventh floor that caused smoke in the staircase, due to which many people got stuck in the lobby area.

 

The cause of the fire is not yet confirmed.
