Fire Erupts at Delhi's Kirti Nagar Furniture Shop

17 Fire Tenders on Scene


On Monday, a fire ignited in a furniture store on the third floor of Kirti Nagar in Delhi, as reported by the police around 6.30 pm.

 

Upon receiving information, approximately 17 fire tenders hurried to the scene to extinguish the blaze.

 

As per the Assistant Divisional Officer (ADO), the fire had extended to three showrooms - Durian Furniture, Godrej Script, and Mibasa Furniture.

 

The fire started on the third floor of Durian Furniture, quickly spreading and damaging furniture, signboards, and office space. This also occurred at Godrej Script and Mibasa Furniture, where the fire affected furniture and signboards on all floors.

 

Each of these buildings consists of a basement, ground floor, and three more storeys, and they occupy an area of 350 square yards each.

 

Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident.

 

Additional investigations are ongoing to ascertain the cause of the fire incident.
