Fire Erupts at Mumbai Corporate Park

No Injuries Reported…


On Tuesday morning, officials in Mumbai reported the rescue of nearly 50 people following a fire that erupted in a six-storey corporate park located in suburban Mulund.

 

A civic official stated that those rescued had been stranded on various floors of the smoke-filled building, where the fire originated around 9:25 am.

 

The individuals were safely evacuated through a staircase and with the assistance of turn-table ladders. The official also mentioned, "There are no reports of any injuries to anyone so far."

 

Another civic official specified that the fire is contained to the sixth floor of the Avior Corporate Park building located on LBS Road.

 

According to the official, the fire damaged wiring, electrical installations, split AC units, wooden furniture, and office records across an area of about 1,000 square feet within the commercial building.

 

He stated that four fire engines, three jumbo tankers, two turn-table ladders, and additional vehicles have been deployed for the firefighting operation.

 

He added that personnel from the Mumbai police, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), and other agencies have been mobilized at the spot to assist in the situation.
