Representatives from 40 countries will participate in the event
The G20 conference, which is scheduled from March 28 to March 30, will be organized in Visakhapatnam and will be attended by the representatives of 40 countries.
Following the event, the district magistrate of Vishakhapatnam, Dr. Annam Mallikarjuna, addressed the press conference at the AU convention hall on 14 March 2023 where he informed about the event and mentioned that they would welcome the representatives from Visakhapatnam airport on March 28 and had also arranged a gala dinner for them on the same night.
Nearly 2350 police personnel will be on duty to maintain the peace environment at the G20 summit and near the airport security. The event will also be attended by the chief minister.
On 29 March, yoga and meditation sessions will be held with a panel discussion. After the panel discussion, they indicate the three areas selected by the Vaisakha municipal commissioner to the foreign representatives on 30 March.
The workshop will be organized on March 31 in the morning by the city planner and the municipal commissioner.
They further mentioned that the team will also look into making sure no common person faces issues because of events and maintaining peace and harmony in the state.
