Film witnesses drop after breaking 2nd record…

The popular movie Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which debuted in theaters in 2001, is followed by Gadar 2.

Early estimates show that Gadar 2 made $14 crore net in India on its eleventh day, according to Sacnilk.com. On its second Monday, the movie's box office receipts dropped by 64.01 percent. The film has made 389 crores so far.

On its second Tuesday, the movie is expected to bring in 11 crores. With this, the total revenue in India will reach 400 crores.

Gadar 2 set a Bollywood record for second-weekend box office revenue on Monday. In three days over the second weekend, Gadar 2 brought in 90.47 crore rupees.

The previous holder of this record was Prabhas' Baahubali 2, which made history in India by earning 80.75 crore across both weekends of its release.

Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan (63.50 crore) and Aamir Khan's Dangal (73.70 crore) are ranked third and fourth, respectively, on the list. The fifth place is occupied by Sanju (62.97 crore).

Gadar 2 is a follow-up to the popular movie Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which was first seen in theaters in 2001. Sunny portrayed the truck driver Tara Singh in the 2001 movie, and Ameesha Patel portrayed Sakeena. The 1947 partition of India is when the movie takes place.

In Gadar 2, Tara Singh is seen crossing the border in a brave attempt to save his son, Utkarsh Sharma, who is being held captive in Pakistan.
