GDP Might Be Positive In the Next Quarter Says Amit Shah

Amit Shah hopes GDP to be positive by the next quarter


Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working hard to resurrect the country’s economy in the recent months and due to that India GDP might come back to positive after shrinking for two quarters said Union Home Minister Amit Shah today. Mr Shah also stated “As Prime Minister Narendrabhai used the time of COVID-19 pandemic to visualize policy-making, keeping in mind its long term impact on the economy” according to a prominent news agency report. Shah also added “As a result in terms of the recent GDP figure, we are only six percent behind….and I hope that in the next quarter the GDP will be in plus”.At the inauguration of two road over bridges in Ahmedabad virtually Mr Shah spoke to the news agency.The Union Home Minister listed multiple measures taken by the government under PM Modi’s various initiatives. Meanwhile he also said that the PM has been working on reforms for various sectors like farming, electricity and industrial policies to establish a system to maintain a good pace of development. The 20 lakh crore rupee package announced by PM Modi for boosting the economy, welfare and social security of the poor of  the nation.

In the April-June quarter India’s GDP record was 23.9% and in the July-September quarter the GDP contracted only by 7.5% shows an official data release.
