Ghaziabad Has Over 350 Dengue Cases

The number of dengue cases in Ghaziabad increased by 14 on Monday, bringing the total to 353. The youngest new patient in Ghaziabad is a one-year-old Sarai Nazar Ali inhabitant, while the oldest is a 69-year-old woman from Crossing Republic. There have been 289 cases of dengue in GB Nagar.

 

There are 12 beds set aside for dengue patients at the District Combined Hospital in Sanjay Nagar. The MMG Hospital also has 15 beds set aside.

 

The district's 63 locations were visited by 58 teams on Monday, and notices were sent out wherever larvae were seen.

 

Dr. RK Gupta, the district surveillance officer, stated that 2,105 homes were examined during the drive and treated with an anti-larvae solution.

 

The private hospitals are required by the GB Nagar CMO to do Elisa testing in order to diagnose patients rather than just relying on low blood platelets.

 

50 beds have been set aside for dengue patients at the District Combined Hospital in Noida.

 

In addition to dengue and malaria infections, the experts noted that viral fever cases are on the rise.
