Goa schools to reopen from November 22

Schools will be reopening for classes 1 to 8


 

 

On Tuesday, the Goa Government's task force on Covid-19 gave a nod for the reopening of schools for students of class 1 to 8. The school will be reopened from November 22.


 

 

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant took a meeting and viewed Covid situation in the state. He has also asked to reopen schools for offline mode. It will also take a final call for considering logistic items. Whereas classes for 9 to 12 are already running in the state. Also, the education department has asked to provide details of schools that have more than 1,000 students.


 

 

According to the report by PTI, it said, "schools and students will have to follow Covid-19 appropriate behaviour." Also "I have asked the department to submit a plan on how they will manage such a large number of students." 


 

 

Schools and colleges are reopening in the state. Many states have completely reopened the schools across the state. The physical offline mode of classes is running now. There is flexibility for both online as well as offline modes. Students can opt for any option with the consent of their parents. 


Appropriate Covid behaviour like wearing a mask, sanitisation will be followed in the school premises to avoid students from getting contaminated from the deadly virus.
