Govt appoints Abhay Kumar Singh as joint secy in newly created Ministry of Cooperation

Vijaya Lakshmi Nadendla and Priya Ranjan, have been appointed as joint secretaries in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

The Personnel Ministry on Monday appointed Abhay Kumar Singh as joint secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation, for a combined tenure of seven years against the newly created post with aid to strengthen the cooperative movement in the country. Abhay Kumar Singh is the 2004-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Bihar cadre.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi cleared the appointment order too. Among other appointments Vijaya Lakshmi Nadendla and Priya Ranjan, have been appointed as joint secretaries in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

Meanwhile, Pramod Kumar Meherda, Kavita Garg, Vibhu Nayar, Kavita Singh, Madnesh Kumar Mishra, Dinesh Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Vedveer Arya, Peeyush Kumar, Sreekanth T, Shailendra Singh have been appointed for various posts.
