Guinness World Record: Indian woman pulled 12,000 kg bus with her hair

Rani created a world record after pulling a double-decker bus with her hair.


A woman from Punjab named Asha Rani left people in awe after a video of her creating a world record was posted on the official Instagram profile of the Guinness World Records.

 

In the video, a 12,000 kg double-decker bus can be seen fastened to Asha’s braids tightly, on the sets of ‘Lo Show Dei Record in Milan, Italy. She pulls the bus carefully and after achieving the world record, Asha broke down in tears.

 

The video of her setting the world record was shared by Guinness World Record’s “Heaviest Vehicle pulled by hair (female) 12,216 kg (26931.67lb) by Asha Rani,” reads the caption. According to the blog by Guinness World Record this feat was achieved by Asha Rani in 2016.

 

The video has gone viral with over 367k views and tons of reactions. People were stunned by Asha’s unique ability and lauded her for creating a world record.

 

Guinness World Records informed that Rani holds multiple records for strength.

 

Asha Rani holds 7 Guinness World Records for her strength and unconventional weightlifting. Asha Rani pulled a 1,700 kg vehicle with her ears on 20th June 2013.In 2014, she achieved “Heaviest weight lifted with both eye sockets (female) - an eye-watering 15.15 kg.

 

She holds another record for pulling a road vehicle 25m with teeth by a female in 22.16 seconds.

The greatest weight lifted with hair by a female is 55.6 kg (122.58) and it was also achieved by Asha Rani on July 18th 2014.

 

She lifted 34.9 kg weight with her two ears using clamps again on 18th July 2014.The fastest time to pull a road vehicle 25 m with teeth by a female is 22.16 seconds and it was also achieved by Asha Rani on 22 July 20114.
