Now every home in Gujarat have access to clear drinking water in taps, government ensures that not a single home will be left without water.
According to government statistics, all 91,73,378 homes in the state now have water connections.
In Gujarat every house has tap water connection, Harsh Sanghavi said in a tweet.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Sanghavi said, “Yet another achievement on the auspicious occasion of #NewYear Gujarat declared as 100% #HarGharJal state. Under eminent leadership of PM Shri @narendramodi ji, CM Shri @Bhupendrapbjp ji & efforts of Shri @Rushikeshmla ji, Gujarat’s every household is now having “Jal”.
After Haryana and Telangana that has declared completion of the mission, Gujarat has now become the third big state.
“Heartly Congratulations to the people of Gujarat…this shows the enthusiasm of the people towards water power,” PM Modi tweeted.
