Amid the domestic dispute that has been going on for several years between the former minister and his wife, Solanki, however, has been now wanting a divorce.

Earlier, Reshma had written an open letter to senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi before his Gujarat visit, saying that Solanki was having an extramarital affair with a woman member of their party.

Reshma further accused BharatSinh of using his political influence. "He miss uses his power badly," she wrote in the letter to Rahul Gandhi.

She alleged that he threw her out of the house after threatening to kill her.
