He played a very important role in helping Lord Rama and to bring Sita Mata back from Lanka, after wicked Ravana, the demon king of Lanka, abducted her. Hanuman is described as someone who always successfully tackles all odds and difficult circumstances. He teaches us to be persistent and devoted towards our goals and no matter how many difficulties come into life, it is self-belief and the devotion which will help us overcome every difficulty of life.
