"Happiness curriculum" to be introduced by UP government in 150 schools

To be implemented across 15 districts!


The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to launch a "Happiness curriculum" in 150 schools of the state across 15 districts. This comes under a pilot project to make the students more sensitive towards nature, society, and the country. Also, Uttar Pradesh will be the third state after Chandigarh and Delhi to implement this curriculum.

 

As per the information, the Happiness curriculum will be introduced to the students of classes 1-8. It will help them to connect with themselves, family, society nature, and the country. 

 

According to the statement given by Saurabh Malviya, the state in charge of the happiness curriculum, the course is being developed keeping in mind the geographical and cultural conditions of Uttar Pradesh and preparations to implement the initiatives are on. children will be taught meditation as well. As part of the pilot project, 150 schools in 15 districts have been asked to work on the curriculum. Five books will be prepared for the children in Classes 1 to 5. The subject matter of the curriculum is being prepared by organising a workshop of 32 teachers. Said the in charge.

 

Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections, the UP Government is in the focus when it comes to public benefits, implementing new schemes, free ration kits, dry ration delivery, and many other things are in the list which are initiated by the UP Government. Also, the Government will distribute free smartphones and tablets to college-goers to make then "technically sound." Several other initiatives are on the list, which is about to bring a change.
