Why do we celebrate?

Every year on September 15, India commemorates Engineer's Day to mark the birth anniversary of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, one of the country's greatest engineers and visionaries. Sir Visvesvaraya, who was born in 1861, was a renowned engineer in addition to being a statesman and the Diwan of Mysore. 

He was a pioneer in many technical domains and played a crucial influence in the infrastructure development of India. Engineer's Day honors his outstanding achievements and the lasting impact his contributions have on the country.

India celebrates engineers on this day since they have helped the nation develop and prosper in so many different ways. 

The spirit of creativity, problem-solving, and technological growth are all celebrated on this day. Engineers from a variety of disciplines, such as civil, mechanical, electrical, computer, and more, are honored for their unwavering efforts to mold a better future for India.
