Harry-Megan Interview: Buckingham Palace Breaks Silence, Says-Concerning Racism Issues

The interview of Prince Harry and Megan Markle to Oprah Winfrey dominated all major UK newspapers. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also did not answer a question about the royal family.

Buckingham Palace finally broke its silence on Tuesday after interviewing Prince Harry and Megan Markle with American 'chat-show' presenter Oprah Winfrey and said the royal family was disappointed by the new information. In a television interview with Oprah Winfrey, Megan said an unnamed royal family member expressed concern with her husband Prince Harry about the color of their baby (with a light complexion). A statement from Buckingham Palace said, "The whole family is devastated to learn how difficult these past years have been for Harry and Megan."

The statement said, 'The issues raised, especially those related to racism, are worrisome. Some memories may be different, but they are taken very seriously and will be resolved privately by the family. Harry, Megan and Archie will always be very dear members of the family. ' The statement comes a day after the interview aired in the UK on the television channel, in which Megan said she was thought to have committed suicide as the newly-married 'Duchess of Sussex'.

Megan Markle father has come out in favor of the royal family on the issue of racism. Thomas Markle  said he does not think the Raj family is racist. He also said that the question raised by the family regarding the son's skin was completely foolish.
