On October 26, 2020, Monday morning a headless dead body of a woman was found stuffed into a plastic sack, it was found dumped near cemetery in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut.
The woman's headless body was found chopped in pieces inside a plastic sack in the Fatehullapur region near a garbage dump.

During the investigation, a localist said that the deceased's chopped body was discovered when few street dogs were trying to grab body pieces from that sack. Children who were playing nearby spotted the dogs and called their parents.

Soon, children came to the spot with their parents, where they found that sack dumped over a heap of garbage with foul smell emanating from it.
After the locals discovered the bag with human remains a chaotic situation occurred across the area. Soon after, police were called to the spot.
Police came to the spot and inspected the remains and claimed that the victim was in her thirties.

Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Akhilesh Narayan  Singh said "Prima facie it appears that somebody known to the women has killed her and it (beheading) was done identified of the deceased. The body was stuffed in a sack, which was apparently being pulled by stray animals at the garbage dumpsite."

He also said, "We have begun our investigation and CCTV footage was also being check in nearby areas. We are trying our best to find clues for this case and to identify the victim's identity.
He added, legal proceedings have being carried out in the case.
