The Health-tech startup HealthifyMe announced on Tuesday that they will acqui-hire the team of Under 45 that gained popularity for helping the people in finding slots for the vaccination drive. As, through  HealthifyMe availability of slot booking it has become easy with the app and the website, HealthifyMe.com.In the statement by HealthifyMe, it said, Now each person can book their slot through the website directly in which they must have to register themselves with an  Application Service Provider (ASP) with CoWin  to supercharge efforts on its vaccination slot booking initiative, , HealthifyMe has also acqui-hired the Under45 team.Vaccinateme which was launched earlier by the company in different 10 language over 8 million people to find out their slot and in the process to get notified when it would be available to them which was developed by a  techie from Chennai, Berty Thomas.In the Under45 platform, the alerts of vaccination slots will be sent to the user via the Telegram messaging app. The app also provides live vaccination alerts to its 4.1 million subscribers via its over 670 channels on Telegram.

Earlier, Thomas joined HealthifyMe where he  also worked with Manan Chandan, Suchdeep Juneja, and Chandraaditya Putuveru. In a statement by Thomas, he spoke about the company’s efforts to fast-track vaccination slot bookings for millions of Indians and to keep in running this free of cost. Together, VaccinateMe.in, Under45.in, BloreVaccine and mhVaccineTracker have helped over 12 million people to find vaccination slots so far, in sending alerts through 100 million alerts via SMS, Telegram, and WhatsApp. In a survey by the company, it has also been found out that 35 percent of those who have received the alerts claim that they have founded vaccines via these alerts.HealthifyMe has already pledged USD 1 million to support this initiative and to invest more when needed.
