Heavy rain in Delhi-NCR

Pleasant weather will remain for the next 4 days…

On Saturday morning, 27 May 2023, Residents of Delhi-NCR woke up to heavy rain, speedy winds, and thunderstorms.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that this weather will continue for the next three to four days.

There will be no severe heatwave conditions and bright Sun till May 30, the IMD said.

Waterlogging was seen in various parts of Delhi after the rainfall. The sudden change in weather will bring relief from the hot weather conditions prevailing over North India.

Thunderstorms and more rainfall have been predicted during the day by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature is settled at around 32 degrees Celsius.

Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 19.3 degrees Celsius, which is 7 degrees below the normal temperature of the season.

Delhi received 16 mm of rainfall till 8.30 am, it added.

Thunderstorms or dust storms with light to moderate intensity rain and speedy winds with speeds of 40-70 kmph would continue in Delhi-NCR and adjoining areas during the next two hours, the IMD said at 6.30 am.
