On Monday, 03 July 2023, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced its decision to rename the Huda City Centre metro station as Gurugram City Centre.
The process to officially change the name of the metro station on the Yellow Line and the documents have been started, the DMRC stated.
DMRC announced the official change in the name.
The process of name changes in all documents, signages, announcements etc. has been started and should be changed gradually, the authorities said.
The change in name thought came over three years after the Delhi government had renamed Pragati Maidan metro station as the Supreme Court metro station.
The renaming comes days after the Union Cabinet gave its nod to the extension of the metro network from the Huda City Centre station to Cyber City in Gurugram.
