On Monday morning a major portion of road caved in Delhi's Janakpuri. However, no injuries were reported in the incident. Officials have put barricades around the area.
The incident happened around 7.45 am. The incident caused traffic congestion in the area.
The road has been completely damaged. The incident happened near Posingi Chowk which is surrounded by several schools and parks. Visuals of the cave-in are doing the rounds on social media. The national capital recorded 0.2 mm rainfall in a 24-hour period ending at 8.30 am on Wednesday.
Children were going to school when the incident happened. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far. Currently, the PWD (Public Works Department) team has arrived at the scene and has barricaded and closed the road from all sides.
