Husband Takes Son to India Amid Investigation


The remains of a 36-year-old woman from Hyderabad were discovered inside a garbage bin on the roadside in Victoria's Buckley, Australia.

 

Chaithanya Madhagani has been identified as the woman. Following this revelation, her husband, Ashok Raj Varikuppala, departed Australia and traveled to India with their son, escalating the investigation.

 

Victoria Police released a statement indicating that homicide squad detectives are investigating "after a deceased person was located in Buckley, near Winchelsea, this afternoon."

 

The statement further added, "Officers found the deceased person on Mount Pollock Road around midday."

 

The police announced that they had established a second crime scene at a residential address on Mirka Way, Point Cook, suspected to be linked to the Buckley homicide.

 

Victoria Police stated that investigators are treating the death as suspicious. They believe the individuals involved are acquainted, and the suspect may have fled abroad. There is no imminent danger to the community, and no arrests have been made at this time.
