IAF’s 1st Evacuation Flight Lands In Delhi

200 Indians Land In National Capital!


The ongoing war between the Russia and Ukraine has created havoc among the Indian Nationals residing in the War Affected Areas. 

 

The Indian Air Force has started its evacuation procedure after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Chairs a high-level meeting and asks IAF in rescuing the Indians From the war affected areas. 

 

On Thursday, The Indian Air Force first flight reached the National Capital Delhi. According to the information Given by the sources it said, around 200 Indians From Romanian Capital Bucharest Landed at the Hindon Air Base in Early Hours.

 

Further the sources said, that First Flight which was conducted using C-17 military transport aircraft reached at 1:30 am.

 

And three more C-17 aircraft of the Indian Air force (IAF), carrying around 300 Indians From Ukraine will land in the National Capital Delhi on Thursday (today) at around 8:00 am.

 

As per the information, Ajay Bhatt, Minister of the state Defence received the Indian Evacuees at the airbase.

 

According to the statement given by Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Union Foreign secretary On Tuesday said around 8,000 Indians, mainly students, are stranded in Ukraine.

 

Also, the Prime Minister has sent Four Union Ministers to the War affected areas.

 

The information states that Hardeep Singh Puri is in Hungary, Jyotiraditya Scindia is in Romania, Kiren Rijiju is in Slovakia and VK Singh is in Poland and working towards Evacuation procedure of the stranded Indian Nationals.

 

 

Whereas Indian Government is continuously monitoring the scenario and working towards a speedy evacuation.
