IIT Roorkee to Launch Online Certification Course In Cloud Computing, Data Science, Software Development
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee on Wednesday has collaborated with an Edutech company named ‘Great Learning’ to begin an online certification course in software development, cloud computing, and data science.
In this course two kinds of programs will be offered - Advanced certificate program which is a complete software development ranging of 10 months with the specialty of Cloud computing or Python for data science and another one is shorter duration certificate programs in form of front-end software development, Back-end software development, cloud computing and Python for data science. The course has been carefully chosen and thoughtfully organized with experts from IIT Roorkee and from other /institute and industry people. Moreover the program will be formed in online content, practical sessions, and weekend live classes.
The administrator of IIT Roorkee Prof Ajit K Chaturvedi says, The working step together between IIT Roorkee and Great Learning will help in raising and shaping up young people for the industry requirement, as the world being digitally economic these skills will help them in enhancing their knowledge in India’s workforce.
The purpose of these programs is to enhance the skill of each student which is required for the working prospect in the corporate world.
