IMD Predicts Rainfall in Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh

Snow Fall Predicted in some parts of the states...


On Friday, the India meteorological department said, “The minimum temperatures have risen to 4-6 degrees Celsius over northwest India and central India during the past four days with some stations such as Amritsar, Churu and Sikar witnessing almost 8-12 degrees Celsius."

 

Adding more, Night/minimum temperatures are in the range of 6-10 degrees Celsius over most parts,s of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and some parts of north Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar."



"Under their influence, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall /snowfall is very likely over Western Himalayan Region from December 26 to 28 and isolated to scattered on December 29," predicts rainfall in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh



Also, some parts are about to witness snowfall. IMD said, "Under their influence, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall /snowfall is very likely over Western Himalayan Region from December 26 to 28 and isolated to scattered on December 29." For Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, isolated rainfall is also expected.



The national capital and the NCR region witness severe bone-chilling cold, other states and cities also witness cool blaze of wind.
