CM took review meeting on health card and HIMS project


CM Arvind Kejriwal held a high-level meeting on Thursday to review the e-Health Card and Health Information Management System (HIMS) project. Officials said through the presentation that the work of HIMS project is going on very fast and much progress has been made in it. CM said that HIMS project is one of the major projects of Delhi government and all the work of this project should be completed within the stipulated time frame. Under the e-health card project, QR code-based e-health cards will be issued to all residents of Delhi based on voter ID and population registry.

In the review meeting, the Health Department officials gave a detailed presentation regarding implementation of Delhi HIMS and issuing e-health cards. Officials said that NIT / RFP has been issued under the Delhi HIMS project. For this, two pre-bid meetings have been held and the bid has been evaluated along with the submission of bids. The vendor selection process for the HIMS project is underway. A detailed evaluation is being done by the core team members on several aspects including demo, presentation and interview and the process will be completed by 20 February. The project is targeted to be implemented and commissioned by August. Similarly, members of the committee have issued NITs for EOI under the Health Card Project.

There will be a call center for the helpline

A Central Call Center will be established on two levels to implement this scheme. Call centers in the first level will receive calls and messages. Logging the CRM will evaluate the case and resolve it and inform the available healthcare staff concerned. In the second level, the doctors and experts of Delhi government will give the patient time to receive the call and message.

Aim to implement it by August

Delhi government wants HIMS to be implemented in all government hospitals by August 2021.All care services for patients. Such as hospital administration, budget and planning, supply chain management, back end service and processes will be brought under this system. E-health cards will be issued through the system and will be found online for access. Door to door verification will be done and physical cards will be distributed
